Advanced Journal of Science and Innovation (AJSI) (ISSN: 1800-34XX) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Canadian Academy for Science and Innovation (CASI). The journal publishes original and high-quality research in Business and Management, Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence, with emphasis on interdisciplinary studies and applied innovation.

AJSI welcomes theoretical and empirical research, case studies, and methodological papers in areas including business strategy, management systems, engineering technologies, and AI applications in industry and society. All submissions undergo editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review to ensure scientific quality and relevance.

The Advanced Journal of Science and Innovation (AJSI) (ISSN: 1800-34XX), published by the Canadian Academy for Science and Innovation (CASI), is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the dissemination of original research that advances scientific knowledge and practical innovation.

The journal publishes high-quality contributions in the following domains:

Business and Management: including but not limited to strategic management, marketing, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, operations and supply chain management, project management, organizational behavior, human resource management, business analytics, sustainability, and business law.

Engineering: including civil, mechanical, electrical, computer, and industrial engineering, as well as interdisciplinary engineering research related to optimization, manufacturing systems, smart infrastructure, energy systems, and sustainability.

Artificial Intelligence: including machine learning, intelligent systems, computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, multi-agent systems, knowledge representation, reasoning under uncertainty, ethical AI, and AI applications in business, engineering, and social systems.

AJSI encourages interdisciplinary research that integrates AI with engineering and management to address complex real-world problems. The journal accepts original research articles, review papers, and applied case studies.

All submissions are subject to an initial editorial evaluation followed by a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Handling editors at AJSI make an initial assessment to ensure a manuscript is scientifically robust and fits within the scope of the journal. After this first check, the handling editor decides whether to send the manuscript out for review or recommend it for immediate rejection.


Peer Review Process

The Advanced Journal of Science and Innovation (AJSI) maintains the highest standards of scholarly integrityand rigorous peer review. All submissions are first screened using Turnitin® plagiarism detection software to ensure originality.

Single-Blind Review

  • AJSI operates a single-blind peer-review system, where reviewers remain anonymous to the authors.

  • Authors must ensure their work is original, accurate, and free from fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.

Evaluation Criteria

Submitted manuscripts are assessed by anonymous referees for:

  • Originality and contribution to the field

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • Scientific rigor and methodology

  • Clarity and presentation

Reviewers

  • Each paper is reviewed by at least two (2) experts, either Editorial Board members or field specialists of equivalent standing.

  • To expedite the process, editors may triage submissions and make a decision without external review if appropriate.

Timeline

  • Authors are usually informed of the review outcome within 5 Days – one week.

  • The Editors’ decision is final; manuscripts deemed unsuitable for publication will not be reconsidered.

Communication

  • All correspondence, including review results, revision requests, and editorial decisions, is communicated via email.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


Publication Frequency

AJSI is published monthly online with a frequency of twelve (12) issues per year , with dedicated issues on a regular basis as well as a general issue per year. Besides that, special issues of AJSI will be published non-periodically from time to time.

Ethics and Responsibilities

Editor in Chief
  • Ensure that the journal's editors and the editorial board are identified in the journal masthead.
  • Provide guidelines to the authors for submission of the manuscript.
  • Establishing a system for effective and rapid peer review.
  • Treating all authors with fairness, courtesy, objectivity, honesty, and transparency.
  • Protecting the confidentiality of every author’s work.
  • Making editorial decisions with reasonable speed and communicating them in a clear and constructive manner.
Editors
  • Conducting peer review of submitted manuscripts.
  • Assigning papers for review appropriate to each reviewer’s area of interest and expertise.
  • Allowing reviewers appropriate time to complete their reviews.
  • Maintaining the journal’s internal integrity.
  • Making recommendations about improved evaluation and dissemination of scientific material.
Authors
  • Manuscript submissions must be made through the journal’s online manuscript system at https://ajsi.org/index.php/journal/submission or on email al-zehhawi.journal@ajsi.org
    Authors MUST follow the “Author Guidelines” stated on the MJFAS website.
  • The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
    The manuscript must be in Microsoft Word and not in PDF format.

Reviewers

  • Avoiding personal comments or criticism
  • Notifying the editor immediately if unable to review in a timely manner and providing the names of potential other reviewers.
  • Providing a thoughtful, fair, constructive, and informative critique of the submitted work, which may include supplementary material provided to the journal by the author.
  • Material under review should not be shared or discussed with anyone outside the review process unless necessary and approved by the editor.

Plagiarism

Authors should submit their original work that is not plagiarized and has not been published or been considered elsewhere. Plagiarism checker software by Turnitin® may be used by the editorial office to check the similarities of submitted manuscripts with existing literature. Work and/or words from other publications must be appropriately cited or quoted.

Review Guidelines

Advanced Journal of Science and Innovation (AJSI). This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in our journals, including the authors, the editors, and the peer-reviewers.

Publication decisions

The editors of the AJSI are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers must always drive such decisions. The editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.

Confidentiality

The editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
