Advanced Journal of Science and Innovation (AJSI)

AJSI welcomes original scholarly contributions that are scientifically rigorous, clearly written, ethically conducted, and relevant to the journal’s scope. Authors should follow the instructions below before submitting a manuscript.

1. Article Types

The journal may consider:

- Original Research Articles.
- Review Articles.
- Short Communications.
- Technical Notes.
- Case Studies, where appropriate to the journal’s scope.

The article type should be identified at submission.

2. Language and File Format

Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English. The main manuscript should be submitted as an editable Microsoft Word document or another editable format accepted by the journal platform.

Authors should use a readable font, consistent headings, page numbers, and clear section organization. Avoid unnecessary formatting, manual spacing, and embedded text that cannot be edited.

3. Required Manuscript Sections

A standard research article should normally contain:

1. Title.
2. Author names and affiliations.
3. Corresponding author information.
4. Abstract.
5. Keywords.
6. Introduction.
7. Materials and Methods.
8. Results.
9. Discussion.
10. Conclusions.
11. Acknowledgements, where applicable.
12. Funding statement, where applicable.
13. Conflict of interest statement.
14. Data availability statement, where applicable.
15. References.

The structure may be adapted for review articles, short communications, and technical notes.

4. Title Page

The title should be concise, informative, and suitable for indexing. Avoid unexplained abbreviations and unnecessary claims.

List all authors using their full names and provide their institutional affiliations. Identify the corresponding author and provide a valid professional email address.

5. Abstract

The abstract should be accurate, self-contained, and understandable without reference to the main text. For research articles, it should normally summarize the background or objective, methods, main results, and conclusion.

Do not include citations, tables, figures, or undefined abbreviations in the abstract unless essential.

6. Keywords

Provide four to six keywords that represent the main subjects of the manuscript. Use specific terms that can help readers and indexing services discover the article.

7. Main Text

Use clear headings and logical paragraph structure. Define an abbreviation at first use and use it consistently thereafter. All numerical values, units, statistical tests, and reported results must be presented accurately.

8. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and cited in the main text. Each table should have a descriptive title, and each figure should have a clear caption.

Figures should be sufficiently clear for online publication. Authors must obtain permission for copyrighted material and acknowledge the source where required.

9. Methods and Reproducibility

Methods should contain enough detail to allow qualified researchers to understand and, where appropriate, reproduce the work. Authors should identify materials, instruments, software, datasets, statistical methods, and relevant protocols.

10. Statistics and Data

Statistical methods should be appropriate for the study design and described clearly. Report the number of observations, relevant measures of uncertainty, and the statistical test used. Do not manipulate, fabricate, or selectively omit data.

Where possible, authors should provide a data availability statement explaining whether supporting data are available and how they may be accessed.

11. Ethical Approval and Consent

Research involving humans, animals, personal information, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards. Include the name of the approving ethics committee or institution and the approval reference where applicable.

Informed consent must be reported when required. Identifying information must not be published without appropriate permission.

12. References

References should be relevant, accurate, and complete. Cite sources consistently throughout the manuscript and include DOI information when available.

Authors are responsible for verifying author names, article titles, journal names, publication years, volume, issue, page range, and DOI links.

13. Originality and Exclusive Submission

A manuscript submitted to AJSI must be original and must not be published or under consideration by another journal. Authors must disclose any related manuscripts, preprints, conference papers, or previously published material that overlaps substantially with the submission.

14. Authorship

All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the research or manuscript and must approve the final version. Individuals who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged rather than listed as authors.

Changes to authorship after submission require written agreement from all affected authors and approval by the editor.

15. Funding and Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose all funding sources and any financial, professional, institutional, or personal interests that could influence the research or its interpretation.

If no conflicts exist, state: “The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.”

16. Peer Review

Submissions undergo editorial screening and may be sent to independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers assess originality, scientific quality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and ethical compliance.

The Editor-in-Chief and editorial team make the final decision. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

17. Plagiarism and Research Misconduct

AJSI does not accept plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, image manipulation, or other forms of research misconduct. Manuscripts may be screened for similarity, and concerns may lead to rejection or further investigation.

18. Submission Checklist

Before submission, confirm that:

- The manuscript fits the journal’s scope.
- The submission is original and not under review elsewhere.
- All authors have approved the manuscript.
- The title, abstract, keywords, tables, figures, and references are complete.
- Ethical approval and consent are stated where applicable.
- Funding and conflicts of interest are disclosed.
- The corresponding author’s details are correct.
- Files are readable and suitable for online review.
